Lake Placid (RWH) Olympic 2-man Bobsleigh Champion Justin Kripps has kicked-off the 2019/2020 winter in the IBSF North American Cup. In Lake Placid (USA), the Canadian and push athlete Ben Coakwell finished the 2-man Bobsleigh races with a second place and a victory, taking the overall lead with 230 points.

Codie Bascue/Joshua Williamson (USA) won the first race in Lake Placid ahead of Kripps and their US team-mates Geoffrey Gadbois / Kristopher Horn. In the second race the victory went to Justin Kripps with Cameron Stones, Yunjong Won/ Jinsu Kim (KOR) finished second ahead of Hunter Church / Blaine McConnell (USA).

The IBSF North America Cup in Lake Placid with two races per discipline goes on until November 21st. In December, Lake Placid will host the first two events of the BMW IBSF World Cup 2019-2020. ©RWH2019
