Großgmain (RWH) The IBSF Para World Cup 2020/2021 as well as the IBSF Para World Championships 2021 will take place in St. Moritz (SUI) and La Plagne (FRA) in February and March 2021. The IBSF Executive Committee made this decision during the current online meeting on December 7.
The Para World Cups will be staged as followed:
- 14 – 26 February 2021, St.Moritz: 3 World Cup races
- 01 – 03 March 2021, La Plagne: 2 World Cup races
The Para World Championships 2021 will be held in St.Moritz during the second week in St. Moritz (21 – 26 February 2021).
“The COVID-19 pandemic is a challenge for all of us, especially for organizing committees to host events. It is with great pleasure to see that St. Moritz and La Plagne can host our Para Bobsleigh World Cup and World Championships despite the difficult circumstance”, said IBSF President Ivo Ferriani. “It shows the great commitment towards Para sport.”
