Canadian Melissa Lotholz wins race of the Women's Monobob World Series

Innsbruck (RWH) Bobsleigh pilot Philipp Zielasko from Germany celebrated his first victory at the IBSF Europe Cup in Innsbruck (AUT) in the 4-man bob. The 24-year-old has been competing in international bobsleigh races for a good year now. Second place in Innsbruck went to teammate Jonas Jannusch (GER), the 2016 Youth Olympic Champion, while pilot Maximilian Illmann's (GER) team finished third.

The 2020/2021 Women's Monobob World Series also featured a race during the IBSF Europe Cup. The victory went to Melissa Lotholz from Canada ahead of her teammate Cythia Appiah. Karlien Sleper from the Netherlands came in third.  ©RWH2021
