Defending champion Lonnie Bissonnette second ahead of Sebastian Westin in St. Moritz
St. Moritz (RWH) Para bobsleigh pilot Jonas Frei (SUI) is the half-time leader at the IBSF Para-Sport World Championships 2021.
At the Olympia Bobrun St. Moritz-Celerina, the 23-year-old World Championships debutant set the best time in the second race run and relegated Lonnie Bissonnette (CAN), who was leading after the first run, to second place. With a lead of 0.43 seconds ahead of defending World Champion Bissonnette, local hero Frei from the Swiss team will go into the second day of racing (Friday, 26 February, from 7.30 a.m. CET). Third in the intermediate classification ahead of World Championships runs number three and four is Sweden's Sebastian Westin, the 2019 bronze medallist and winner of the last World Cup race in St. Moritz.
