San Diego (RWH) Kaillie Humphries (USA), 2010 and 2014 Olympic Champion and reigning World Champion in both 2-woman Bobsleigh and Monobob, gained full United States citizenship, as was reported by the national federation USABS. Getting the Certificate of Citizenship was a prerequisite to represent Team USA in the upcoming Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. Kaillie Humphries, who competed for Canada until the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, will still need to qualify and then be named to the US team.

To receive the certificate in person, the 36-year-old flew to the USA for one day from training for the BWM IBSF World Cup in Altenberg.
