European Cup overall wins go to Oelsner, Stulnev and Schneider
Winterberg (GER) Phillip Zielasko (GER, 2-man bob), Nico Semmler (GER, 4-man bob), Maureen Zimmer (GER, 2-woman bob) and Youth Olympic Champion Georgeta Popescu (ROU, women's monobob) are the 2022 Junior European Champions. The titles in the U23 European Championships were secured at the season finale of the IBSF European Cup 2021/2022 in Winterberg by Russia's Stepan Dubinko in the 2-man bob and 4-man bob, as well as Georgeta Popescu in the 2-woman bob and monobob.
The overall European Cup winner in 2-man bob is Richard Oelsner (GER) ahead of Cedric Follador of Switzerland and Alexey Stulnev (RUS). In the 4-man bob Stulnev won ahead of Oelsner and Follador. The overall ranking in the 2021/2022 IBSF European Cup in 2-woman bobsleigh was won by Stephanie Schneider (GER) ahead of Liidia Hunko from Ukraine and Georgeta Popescu (ROU).
The last race of the IBSF Women's Monobob World Series 2021/2022 in the European Cup was won by Simidele Adeagbo (NGR) in Winterberg. It was the first victory for Nigeria in an IBSF race. ©RWH2022
