Lake Placid (RWH) The federation USA Bobsled & Skeleton (USABS) is hiring a new bobsleigh head coach, responsible for the leadership, development, and execution of the program and to ensure optimal performance by USA athletes at domestic and international competitions, including the World Championships and Olympic Games.

At the beginning of April, USABS announced that head coach Mike Kohn made the decision to step down from his position so that he can spend more time with his family.
Mike Kohn began competing as bobsleigh athlete in 1990, took part in two Winter Olympics, won Olympic bronze in 2002 and raced successfully in both the back and front seats of the sled. He's led athletes to medals on various tours since he began working with the team as a coach in 2011, and was a part of the coaching staff for eight Olympic medal finishes in three Winter Olympic Games. In February, Kaillie Humphries and Elana Meyers Taylor won Olympic gold and silver at the Beijing 2022 Winter Games, Meyers Taylor also claimed bronze in the 2-women bobsleigh race.
