Push athlete wins British Shot Put Championships

Bath (RWH) British bobsleigh push athlete Adelé Nicoll has successfully made the turn again from winter to summer sports with winning the British Shot Put Championships and the selection to represent Wales at the Commonwealth Games. This was announced in a press release of the British Bobsleigh & Skeleton Association BBSA.

Four months after heading to the Olympic Winter Games with the British Bobsleigh team as alternate push athlete of pilot Mica McNeill, Adelé Nicoll will compete in the shot put in Birmingham (July 28 – August 8).

The 25-year-old took up bobsleigh in 2020. McNeill/Nicoll won a silver medal in Sigulda World Cup in just the push athlete’s  third bobsleigh race on the way to making the Team GB squad for the Winter Olympics. ©RWH2022
