Bath (RWH) British bobsleigh push athlete Mica Moore will start the winter 2022-2023 as pilot. The 29-year-old announced this switch on Twitter: „Tomorrow I go to Norway for the start of my bobsleigh season ... as a pilot!“, she wrote on October 19.
Mica Moore was an Olympian with Team GB in 2018 as she and pilot Mica McNeill recorded the best British female result in Olympic bobsleigh history with an eighth-place finish in PyeongChang.
In January 2017, she won World Junior Championship gold with Pilot Mica McNeill. At her first Senior World Championships she placed 16th with McNeill in Konigssee, with a World Cup personal best of fifth in Whistler and fourth place at the European Championships in Igls following in November and December that year.
