Lake Placid (RWH) Three-time Olympic Champion Kaillie Humphries and five-time medallist Elana Meyers Taylor are among the nominees for the 2022 James E. Sullivan Award. The prestigious prize is awarded annually since 1930 to the „most outstanding amateur athlete in the United States.“
Kaille Humphries won three Olympic gold medals including the inaugural one in Women’s Monobob in Beijing 2022. Elana Meyers Taylor names five Olympic medals her own, the most recent from the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 (silver in Monobob, bronze in 2-woman Bob).
