Brad Hall finishes second in Park City for Great Britain, Swiss Michael Vogt comes third

Park City (RWH) Olympic and World Champion Francesco Friedrich remains unbeaten in the BMW IBSF World Cup 2022/2023 in 2-man bobsleigh. After his opening victory in Whistler (CAN), defending World Cup champion Friedrich and push athlete Thorsten Margis also won the second race of the season in Park City (USA). Friedrich/Margis, who lay in third after the first race, went on to win with the best time of the day in the final run.

Second place went to the British team Brad Hall/Taylor Lawrence (0.26 seconds behind). The duo led after the first run in the Utah Olympic Park, but then fell behind the Friedrich team.

Michael Vogt/Sandro Michel (SUI, 0.32 seconds back) finished third in Park City. 

The US host teams, Frank Del Duca/Hakeem Abdul-Saboor and Geoffrey Gadbois/Darius Joseph, in Park City celebrated their best results so far in the BMW IBSF World Cup, finishing seventh and tenth.

Axel Brown/Marcano Andre made their debut for the nation of Trinidad & Tobago at the World Cup in Park City. The duo finished 13th at Utah Olympic Park.

In the overall ranking of the BMW IBSF World Cup 2022/2023 Francesco Friedrich (GER, 450 points) is still leading ahead of Brad Hall (GBR, 420) and Michael Vogt (SUI, 392).
