Third place in Lake Placid and overall lead in BMW IBSF World Cup for Kim Kalicki

Lake Placid (RWH) 2-woman Bobsleigh World Champion Kaillie Humphries (USA) celebrated her first victory in the BMW IBSF World Cup 2022/2023 in the third race of the season. In Lake Placid (USA) Humphries with push athlete Kaysha Love relegated Olympic Champion Laura Nolte with Lena Neunecker (GER, 0.12 seconds back) to second place. 

Kim Kalicki (GER), winner of the first two 2-woman Bobsleigh World Cups in Whistler (CAN) and Park City (USA), came in third with Anabel Galander in Lake Placid, 0.59 seconds behind winner Humphries.

Bianca Ribi from Canada celebrated her best ever 2-woman Bobsleigh result in the BMW IBSF World Cup with pusher Niamh Haughey in fourth place.

In the overall ranking of the 2022/2023 BMW IBSF World Cup, European Champion Kim Kalicki defended her overall lead with 650 points ahead of Kaillie Humphries (USA, 625) and Laura Nolte (GER, 612).
