Laura Nolte (GER, European Champion 2023).

"I was already very happy with the first run and was also able to handle the slightly different conditions well in the second run. Kaillie Humphries and I tied after the first run and I knew everything had to be right so she wouldn't slide away from me."

Kaillie Humphries (USA, 2021 World Champion, 2022 Olympic Champion)

"All in all, I'm happy with the first World Championships day. I had a few mistakes in the second run, but my start is getting better with each run and I'm looking forward to tomorrow."

Lisa Buckwitz (GER, overall sixth BMW IBSF World Cup 2022/2023)

"That was exhausting for me, I'm still a little bit ailing health-wise. I'm really happy with the second run and also with third place for now. Then tomorrow is a new day."
