Magdeburg (RWH) Bobsleigh push athlete Paul Krenz from Germany, with pilot Nico Walther 2019 World Championship bronze medallist in the 2-man bob and 2020 in the 4-man bob, ends his active career. The 31-year-old made the announcement on Instagram after the 2022/2023 season.
The former judoka was active in bobsleigh sport since 2014 and stood on the podium in the 2-man and 4-man bobsled at Junior World Championships a total of four times.
After Nico Walther's career ended in 2020, Paul Krenz had joined the team of six-time Junior World Champion Richard Oelsner. After Oelsner had to take a break due to injury, Paul Krenz last competed in two 2-man bobsleigh races with Johannes Lochner in the winter of 2021/2022. ©RWH2023
