Lake Placid (RWH) With victories for young skeleton pilots from Romania and Korea the first race of OMEGA IBSF Youth Qualification Series in Lake Placid (USA) came to an end.
In the womens event eight athletes competed with the medals going to
1st Place Alexandra Vicol (ROU)
2nd Place Kalyn McGuire (USA)
3rd Place Rebecca Hass (USA)
In the mens event nine sleds hit the start line with the medals going to;
1st Place Seunggi Jung (KOR)
2nd Place Kindrick Carter (USA)
3rd Place Mihai Trasnea (ROU)
Via OMEGA IBSF Youth Series, young icetrack athletes can qualify for the Youth Oylmpic Winter Games 2016 in Lillehammer (NOR, Feburary 12-21, 2016). The qualification continues in Calgary (CAN) with training starting on October 28 and the first Monobob races on November 4-5. ©RWH2015
