Königssee (RWH) Jacqueline Lölling and Axel Jungk are the new German Skeleton Champions. That was announced by the German federation BSD (Bob- und Schlittenverband für Deutschland) via Twitter.
For Jacqueline Lölling, 2012 Youth Olympic Champion and 2015 World Championships silver medallist, it was the third national title after 2012 and 2015. At the Königssee artificial icetrack, the 21-years-old won gold ahead of Anna Fernstädt and Corinna Leipold. 2016 Youth Olympic Champion Hannah Neise finished fifth.
