IBSF Junior World Championships 2017: Nikita Tregybov and Yulia Kanakina win skeleton gold

Sigulda (RWH) Skeleton athletes Nikita Tregybov and Yulia Kanakina from Russia are the 2017 Junior World Champions.

In Sigulda (LAT), Nikita Tregybov won his third consecutive title ahead of Latvia’s Krists Netlaus and Youth Olympic Champion Evgeniy Rukosuev (RUS). Yulia Kanakina won the Junior World Championships title ahead of teammate Renata Khuzina (RUS) and Maxi Just from Germany.

All current Junior World Champions are qualified to start at the BMW IBSF World Championships Bob + Skeleton 2017 in Königssee (13.-26. February 2017). ©RWH2017
