Arnhem (RWH) Skeleton athlete Kimberley Bos from the Netherlands was upgraded to A-status by her National Olympic Committee NOC * NSF. That was reported by the news agency NOS. The 23 years old physiotherapist is now in the highest sports funding level.
At the finale of BMW IBSF World Cup 2016/2017 in March in PyeongChang, Kimberley Bos finished third, becoming the first Dutch athlete to win a medal in Skeleton World Cup. The icetrack in Korea is venue of the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
Skeleton fans voted for Kimberley Bos winning her first medal as „Sliding Moment of the Season“ at an online vote on the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation IBSF´s Facebook page. ©RWH2017
