Briton Brogan Crowley and Krists Netlaus win Overall Europe Cup

Innsbruck (RWH) Alina Tararychenkova from Russia and Krists Netlaus from Latvia are the first ever Junior European Champions in the sports of skeleton. The title were awarded to the best junior athletes in the overall ranking of IBSF Europe Cup, following the finale in Innsbruck (AUT).

The Junior European Championships title in women’s skeleton went to Alina Tararychenkova (RUS, 389 points) ahead of teammate Maria Surovtseva (RUS, 312) and Agathe Bessard (FRA, 293). Winner of Overall Europe Cup is Brogan Crowley (GBR, 480 points) followed by Alina Tararychenkova and Eleanor Furneaux (GBR, 327).

In men’s skeleton, Latvia’s Krists Netlaus (451 points) is the Junior European Champion. Russia’s Konstantin Khoroshko (367) and Artem Drozdov (360) won silver and bronze, respectively. In the same line-up, the trio also finished 1-3 in IBSF Europe Cup 2017/2018. ©RWH2018
