Salt Lake City (RWH) The Bobsled and Skeleton Federation of Ghana is on the lookout for talented athletes to grow the country’s bobsleigh and skeleton teams towards the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing.
Interested athletes with Ghanaian roots are invited to attend the federation’s combine on September 29 (1-3 pm local time) in Salt Lake City (USA). Venue is the Utah East High Track.
2018 in PyeongChang, Akwasi Frimpong became the first Skeleton athlete from Ghana to compete at the Winter Olympics. The Federation currently announced the former US athlete and coach Zach Lund as their new Skeleton Head Performance Director. ©RWH2018
