Altenberg (RWH) The German Federation BSD (Bob- und Schlittenverband für Deutschland) has announced its skeleton team for the BMW IBSF World Cup 2019/2020.
For the women, the three medal winners of the BMW IBSF World Championships 2019 were already set for the three women’s World Cup spots in the new season: World Champion Tina Hermann, Vice World Champion Jacqueline Lölling and World Championships bronze medallist Sophia Griebel.
Alexander Gassner had been nominated for the World Cup even before the last of the four selection races in Altenberg. The 30-year-old had wol all the previous races. Additionally, also Junior World Champion Felix Keisinger and the 2017 World Championships runner-up Axel Jungk are nominated for the World Cup team.
The fourth selection race in Altenberg also counted as German Championship. In the women's race, Tina Hermann won her third title in a row. Jacqueline Lölling finished second ahead of Susanne Kreher. Alexander Gassner won the title ahead of Felix Keisinger. Third place went to Axel Jungk. ©RWH2019
