Winterberg (RWH) Local Heroes Susanne Kreher and Christopher Grotheer from Germany are the winners of the third race of IBSF Skeleton Intercontinental Cup 2019/2020 in Winterberg (GER). A total of 42 athletes from 14 nations took part.

In Women’s Skeleton, Susanne Kreher celebrated her third victory in the third race of the season. In Winterberg, the 20-years-old relegated her teammate, Youth Olympic Winter Games silver medallist Hannah Neise, to second rank. Katie Uhlaender from USA, the 2012 World Champion, finished third in Winterberg.

Christopher Grotheer from Germany, the 2019 Team World Champion and winner of the opening ICC race in Sochi (RUS), celebrated his second victory in Winterberg. Teammate Kilian von Schleinitz (GER) finished second ahead of Jerry Rice from Great Britain.

The next ICC race is scheduled for December 14 in Königssee (GER). ©RWH2019
