Bath (RWH) PyeongChang 2018 Olympic bronze medalists Dom Parsons ends his career as Skeleton athlete, as the 32-years-old announced via Instagram.

Dom Parsons returnd to the British team for BMW IBSF World Cup at the beginning of the season after taking a year out from competition. During this months, he completed his doctorate in mechanical engineering at the University of Bath.

As the federation British Bobsleigh & Skeleton (BBSA) announced in a press release, Parsons fellow 2018 Olympian Jerry Rice gets the free spot in the coming BMW IBSF World Cup events. Rice, who finished 10th alongside Parsons in PyeongChang, will rejoin Marcus Wyatt and Craig Thompson on the sport’s top circuit. ©RWH2019
