IBSF back in PyeongChang with ICC finals for first time since 2018 Winter Games
Lake Placid / PyeongChang (RWH) Skeleton athletes Susanne Kreher and Christopher Grotheer (both GER) are the leaders of the overall ranking to IBSF Intercontinental Cup ahead of the finals. After six of the eight races of the 2019/2020 season, Susanne Kreher has a 130-point lead over US athlete Kelly Curtis. Russian Alena Frolova is currently third after the station in Lake Placid (USA).
In men's skeleton, Christopher Grotheer has recently collected 652 points after his third win of the season in Lake Placid. Chinese athlete Wenhao Chen (544), who won the first ICC race in Lake Placid, is second overall followed by Egor Veselov (RUS) in third.
The final stop for the IBSF Intercontinental Cup 2019/2020 is PyeongChang in Korea. For the last two races in the series, the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation is coming back to the Alpensia Sliding Center for the first time since the 2018 Winter Olympics. ©RWH2020
