Coltman and Seibel win Overall IBSF Europe Cup
Altenberg (RWH) Alina Tararychenkova from Russia and Felix Seibel from Germany are the 2020 Junior European Champions in the sport of Skeleton.
In Altenberg (GER), Tararychankova won the last women’s skeleton race to IBSF Europe Cup 2019/2020 that also counted as European Championships for the Junior athletes. Silver went to Agathe Bessard from France ahead of Stefanie Votz (GER) with Bronze.
Amelia Coltman from the UK won the overall ranking of IBSF Europe Cup 2019/2020. In her debut season, the 23-years-old two victories and three more podium places. Endija Terauda (LAT) finished second overall ahead of Tararychenkova in third.
In men’s skeleton, Felix Seibel captured the Junior European Championships title as well as the victory in Overall Europe Cup. Junor European Championships silver and bronze went to Russians Evgeniy Rukosuev and Vladislav Semenov, respectively. Semenov finished the 2019/2020 Europe Cup series in second ahead of Latvian Krists Netlaus. ©RWH2020
