PyeongChang (RWH) Skeleton athletes Kelly Curtis (USA) and Christopher Grotheer (GER) are overall winners in the IBSF Intercontinental Cup 2019/2020.
Kelly Curtis, overall winner of the North American Cup last winter, secured first place in the points ranking with fourth and second places at the last station of the racing series in PyeongChang (KOR). The victories on the 2018 Olympic track went to Katie Uhlaender (USA) and Kimberley Bos (NED).
Susanne Kreher (GER) secured second place in the overall standings with three victories this season, inspite not competing at the last two races of the season. Katie Uhlaender, the skeleton world champion from 2012, also competed in two races less, but recently celebrated three ICC victories to finish thrid overall.
In the men's skeleton, the overall ICC victory went to Christopher Grotheer (GER) ahead of Wenhao Chen from China and the Canadian Dave Greszczyszyn. The winner of both races in PyeongChang was local hero Seunggi Jung (KOR). ©RWH2020
