Felix Seibel wins silver ahead of Fabian Küchler with bronze

Winterberg (RWH) Felix Keisinger from Germany is the Junior World Champion 2020 in men's skeleton. In Winterberg (GER), the 22-year-old, with the best time in the second heat, relegated his previously leading team-mate Felix Seibel (GER) to second place. Seibel, the Junior European Champion and overall winner in the IBSF Europe Cup 2019/2020, won silver ahead of Fabian Küchler (GER).

Junior World Champion Felix Keisinger, currently fourth overall in the BMW IBSF World Cup 2019/2020, now is also personally eligible to comepte at the BMW IBSF World Championships 2020 in Altenberg (GER, February 21 to March 1, 2020).

A total of 32 young skeleton athletes from 17 nations competed in Winterberg, including seven participants of the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Lausanne 2020. The 17-year-old Elvis Veinbergs from Latvia, YOG silver medal winner, finished the Winterberg Junior Worlds ranked 14th. ©RWH2020
