Kimberley Bos and Seibel win last races of the season in Innsbruck
Innsbruck (RWH) Susanne Kreher in women's skeleton and Felix Seibel (both GER) in men's skeleton are the overall winners at the IBSF Intercontinental Cup 2020/2021.
Susanne Kreher (538 points) won at Königssee and was on the podium in four of the five races of the season. For the silver medallist of the 2020 and 2021 Junior World Championships, it was the first overall victory in the second highest race series of the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation IBSF. Her team-mate Corinna Leipold (GER, 496) finished second overall ahead of Alena Frolova (RUS, 446) in third place.
In the men's event, Felix Seibel (GER, 582 points), the 2020 Europe Cup overall winner, celebrated his first overall victory in the Intercontinental Cup. Kilian von Schleinitz (GER, 500) finished second ahead of Vladislav Semenov (RUS).
In the women's event, both wins in the last two races in Innsbruck went to overall World Cup bronze medallist Kimberley Bos from the Netherlands. Intercontinental Cup overall winner Susanne Kreher was second in each race, Alena Frolova (RUS) and Sarah Wimmer (GER) secured third places.
In men's skeleton, overall winner Felix Seibel celebrated his season's victories number four and five. Second and third places went once to Britain's Jacob Salisbury and Ben Fulker and in the season finale to Kilian von Schleinitz and Vladislav Semenov. ©RWH2021
