Winterberg (RWH) Four races, four victories: Skeleton athletes Li Yuxi and Yin Zheng from Olympic host China go into the half-time of the 2021/2022 IBSF Skeleton Europe Cup with an optimal 300 points. After two victories at the start of the Olympic season in Lillehammer (NOR), the two athletes were also on top of the podium twice in Winterberg (GER).
In the women's skeleton, Li Yuxi first won ahead of US athlete Mystique Ro and Russia's Polina Tiurina. In the second race, Sarah Wimmer (GER) and Zhu Yangqi (CHN) finished second and third behind winner Li Yuxi.
In the men's event, Yin Zheng twice left last year's overall winner Cedric Renner in second place and Stefan Röttig in third. The IBSF Skeleton Europe Cup continues on 3 December in Innsbruck (AUT). ©RWH2021
