"Eiskanal Bludenz" passes baptism of fire at the IBSF Europe Cup

Bludenz (RWH) Baptism of fire passed: The skeleton premiere at the "Eiskanal Bludenz" proved to be a complete success. More than sixty athletes from sixteen national federations competed in the IBSF Europe Cup. Mystique Ro (USA) and Stefan Röttig from Germany each celebrated both victories in their respective discipline.

The "Eiskanal Bludenz", opened about a year ago, is available for the sports of luge, skeleton, mono and 2-man/2woman Bobsleigh for training purposes, but also for sprint and junior competitions. The icetrack has a length of 750 metres with six curves and a maximum gradient of just over 16 per cent.
