Canadian Tirza Lara wins Overall NAC in Women’s Skeleton
Lake Placid (RWH) Lake Placid (USA) hosts the last IBSF races of the 2022/2023 winter with the final two North American Cup races in bobsleigh and skeleton.
- Women’s Skeleton: Canadian junior athlete Tirza Lara wins the overall ranking ahead of teammate Natalie Coughlin and Shannon Galea from Malta.
- Push World Champion Mystique Ro from home team USA celebrated the victories in Lake Placid with Amelia Coltman and Overall Europe Cup winner Freya Tarbit (both GBR) finished second and thrid, respectively.
- Men’s Skeleton: Brendan Doyle became the first skeleton athlete from Ireland winning an IBSF overall title. Canadians Kyle Donsberger and Ryan Kuehn finished second and third overall.
- Briton Jacob Salisbury won both races in Lake Placid and celebrated his first ever wins in IBSF races.
